We welcome visitors to the Flying Fox for lunch.

After a scenic drive up the Whanganui river road, traverse the river on our aerial cable car, then relax on our covered deck with expansive views of the river whilst enjoying your choice of food. Following lunch you are invited to join Kelly for a tour of the property and learn a little of the history of the site and the local area.

Our menus range from a finger buffet to a full roast dinner and we are always happy to discuss other requirements you may have.

The Flying Fox is an ideal lunch venue for families, groups of friends or small work teams and meeting space can usually be provided too. So why not get out of town and go for the full Flying Fox experience for you next lunch date!

For six or more people – a modern twist on the traditional kiwi hangi.
